This ministry exists to provide assistance, counseling, and comfort to the members of the congregation who may be in need. The Deacons and Deaconesses serve as an extension of the Pastor. Their biblical mandate is to serve those in need whether materially or spiritually.


The NMOM consists of a 6 hour course of instructions taken from the Bible, Church Doctrine and Church Ordinance to aid the new members in learning whom they are in Christ, where they are in Christ, what we believe as a Christian Church, and the work that awaits a believer in Christ Jesus. Participants have an opportunity to learn about all active ministries of the church as well as the history Mother Easter.  

The Missionary Society is a ministry that stimulates a missionary spirit in men, women, and young people in the church by prayer, study of the bible, and world mission tasks of the church. Inclusive in the ministry is women's ministry, stewardship, community and foreign missions, and sewing and craft ministries.

This ministry welcomes guests and members and regularly participates in worship services. The Usher Ministry also assists with literature distribution, directing and seating guests, and collecting offerings.

The Sunday School of Christian Living is charged with teaching the “Great Commission” to children, youth, and adults. The ministry exists to facilitate Christian growth in faith through individual and group study while nurturing spiritual development. It is our mission through the study of God’s inspired  word to reach, teach, transform, and equip His church body. In the end, we provide one of the essential conduits for learning God’s word and doctrine while making disciples for Jesus Christ to “send them out.”

The Youth Ministry exists to inspire young people through the message of the bible; to create young men and women who love Jesus and desire to live for him. The ministry uses all appropriate methods to excite, inspire, capture and ignite young people for Jesus. This mission will continue to be fulfilled by the application of scripture as it applies to their daily life, modeling, reciting the word, Bible study, service projects, fellowship,educational experiences, and through worship songs.

To praise and worship God through music at our local church and within our community; lead people to fellowship with Christ while ministering through song and encourage music ministry members to live what we sing. If God has placed a
song in your mouth, in your heart, in your spirit; the Lord has need for you in this ministry.

This ministry exists to carry the unchanging gospel of Jesus Christ to an ever-changing world through the use of technology and media. It is impossible for us to capture the anointing of the Gospel on video or audio tape, but it is our mission to become
recorded witnesses of His presence in the lives of people.

The purpose of this ministry is to inform, assist and educate the congregation as it relates to their medical/physical health. Services include: Responding to medical emergencies during worship service, professional speakers, and participation in community health fairs. This ministry appeals to members who are licensed and/or certified medically, and trained to provide health care services to individuals.

The Performing Arts Ministry exists to encourage and support anyone wishing to glorify God through the gift of the performing arts. The ministry aims to provide high quality dramatic interpretations complete with audio/visual/technological support to foster and encourage youth and adult members to grow in the Lord while cultivating and refining their talents and abilities.

The Hospitality Ministry greets and welcomes members and visitors in order to create a warm and friendly environment to those who enter the church for service or events.

This Ministry's responsibility consists of the maintenance of the building and grounds.  Stewardship of sacred spaces so that our grounds can best serve and support the mission statement of the church, provide a clean, attractive, welcoming, and safe environment for worship is it's purpose.

This ministry serves the needs of the church family both in food preparation and fellowship. This ministry also  supervises all activities held in the E.H. Hopkins Fellowship Hall.


The Trustee Ministry manages the material possessions and oversees the financial matters of the church with spiritual sensitivity. The church's physical property, financial obligations and all other assets are the responsibility of the Trustee Ministry. Acting as one body, the Trustees provide direction, leadership, facilities, processes, capability and capacity to help further God's word.


The Laymen's ministry exists to enlist and coordinate the power of the congregation for an effective performance of essential Christian activities and to  cultivate a Christian life through study, worship, fellowship and service. This ministry also exists to enlist the unchurched for fellowship and bring them  into a vital relationship with Christ; to cooperate with the pastor, officers and other organizations in developing and stimulating the work of the Church to Glorify God, to Magnify God and to help somebody.
